Jeff Grieneisen
Jeff Grieneisen is professor of literature and creative writing at State College of Florida and Instructor of English at Ringling College of Art and Design. His poetry explores the individual’s relationship with geography and place and one’s sense of belonging, spiritually and physically, in the world. He has published widely, including his first book Good Sumacs (Mammoth, 2011), and he has presented scholarship and creative work around the world, reading in Paris, London, Edinburgh, Venice (Italy), Sudtirol, and in the Camargue of Southern France. His scholarship includes articles and presentations on Edgar Allan Poe, Ezra Pound, Ernest Hemingway, James Wright, with a focus on global literary modernism through theoretical lenses, especially ecocriticism and geocriticism.
