Prunty has poetry in print journals including: New Orleans Review, Fence, Upstairs at Duroc, Combo, Parentheses, Cranky, Tripwire, Fascicle, New American Writing, 108, Gestalten, Mirage #4/Period(ical), Brown Box and Volt. Online, his poetry can be found at talking about strawberries all the time, Caliban, the tiny, Global Poemics, where is the river, Pennsound, Marsh Hawk Review, Coconut, and Horse Less Review. Some of his visual poetry can be seen at Poemeleon. Prunty’s poetry has appeared in these anthologies: Another South: Experimental Writing in the South and Stone, River, Sky: an Anthology of Georgia Poems. Prunty’s chapbooks are Delusiveness and Van Gogh Talks, both from the press 3rdness, Pretend I’m Me from Moria Books, and Red Wax from the micropress Ethel.
Outside of poetry, Prunty has been a competitive amateur athlete as a runner and cyclist, and is a life-long birder.
