Youna Kwak

asYouna Kwak was born in Seoul. She holds an M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Montana and a Ph.D. in French from New York University, and makes use of these degrees to write, translate, and teach French, literature, and creative writing. She is currently translating François Bon’s Daewoo, forthcoming with Dialogos in 2019. Her poems, essays, and translations have appeared in various journals including Boston ReviewThe Brooklyn RailHorizon ReviewMuthafuckaThe OffingPo&sie, and La Traductière.
